Roger was a graduate of Aquinas Institute who then started with TRW repairing sewing machines and adding machines. He eventually began teaching himself how to fix computers and let his work speak for itself. He traveled all over NY state and Pennsylvania.
Roger was a big family man who enjoyed week-long camping trips and was always excited to have the families gather around during the holidays. He loved spending time on the water and around the water while camping. He was also the Bingo caller at the campground.
A natural handyman, Roger could fix most anything. He enjoyed Nascar, Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver, and often recorded the Nascar races. He liked to camp at Willow Beach State Campgrounds, Lancaster Ransonville Race tracks and lived for cooking on the grill and spending time in his yard. In his spare time, he liked reading Tom Clancey books and listening to classical music.
Family and friends would best describe Roger as someone who was firm, caring, strong, humble. He was proud of his children and his personal accomplishments and work, always dedicated to both. Roger was hard-working, self-educated, resourceful, liked simple things, was always helpful to others, industrious, meticulous about his yard, work, and play. He taught his children many things both inside and outside of the house. Roger will be dearly missed.
