So sorry to here this, Ron cut my hair for many years. Started going to Ron when he I were both young men. I went to his shop when it was on the corner, then he moved up Driving Park to the new shop, I moved to Webster shortly after that but continued going to Ron until he retired. I will surly miss him but I have many great memories. He was the Best!
Ron cut my hair back when I actually had hair. He and my dad were best of friends back when they were in the service. Hearing their stories, sitting in the chair Ron always made me feel excited to go. He would tease, prod and call me out frequently. I will remember Ron’s smile, and his inner “youth” To Patty, Steve, Kevin & Mark, he was a great man you are all blessed to have had him in your lives!
I am very sorry for your loss. Ron cut my hair from ages 16-64. My paper route was my street, Dove St., and each week after making my collections I’d stop in as Ron needed quarters. After I retired from GM I would walk around the neighborhood and stop in his shop for a “short” chat which at times was an hour. He was a GREAT guy. My condolences. Dan Kolb
