History Survived by his children, Lisa (Marc) Murphy, Stacie (Steven) Halter, Ronald F. (Jennifer) Schneider Jr.; grandchildren, Morgan, Daniel, Meghan, Makenna, Cody, Cameron Joshua; lifelong friend, Diane Schneider; mother, Margaret Schneider-Schnizler; sisters, Susan (Robert) Klueber, Patti Brink; many nieces, nephews friends. Services Ronald's visitation will be held 1-5PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). His funeral service will be celebrated 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home. Additional Information Ron was born on December 14, 1946 to Leo A. and Margaret (Osburn) Schneider in Rochester, NY. His sisters were, Susan (Robert) Klueber and Patti Brink. Ron attended St. Charles Borromeo School. Growing up as a teen, he enjoyed bowling. He graduated from John Marshall High School. Ron was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, receiving a National Defense Service Medal amongst other medals. One of Ron's activities was coaching the Greece Cardinals youth football team . He liked watching the Red Wings baseball games and Rochester Americans. In additions to these local sports teams, he also liked the Buffalo Bills - sometimes giving him grief. Ron enjoyed watching wrestling events. He was quite active with the VFW, marching in the parades as a flagbearer. His favorite activity was attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Ron's favorite holiday was Christmas. He participated in clambakes at Lindenbergs and enjoed going to the Long Pond Family Restaurant, having dinners and especially lemon cloud cake. Ron's favorite tv shows were, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Wrestling, and the Sunday Showcase of Homes. The best way to describe Ron is that he was positive about life. He always said, "Every day was a good day" "Why complain". He loved his grandchildren, their memory of him will always be "papa 7". Ron will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
