My deepest condolences to Alexis and family. From a Clark Witbeck alumni, I so enjoyed working with Ron as he was outspoken with super quick wit. I’m sorry I didn’t get to know Ron better (I was pretty young at the time), but I never forgot him!
So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Many memories of the Plymouth Avenue home and the Family gatherings there for birthdays. I had not seen Ron in many years, but from reading the writeup here, it sounds like he led a happy and fulfilled life with much Love around him. I especially remember his smile and kind nature. Sending Love and Healing to the whole Family.
My deepest sympathy and condolence goes out to you and your family at this time of sorrow. That was a beautiful tribute that was written for cousin Ron.
I have nothing but the fondest memories of Ron, as Joe and I grew from little trouble makers into big trouble makers and now raising our own trouble makers. He always spent time patching us up or making us laugh, along with teaching us how to work hard (a fantastic supervisor). Besides my father, I consider Ron my favorite and best mentor, always taking the time to explain the simple and the complex tasks. I am eternally grateful to Ron for being a wonderful father figure and friend these past 40+ years and feel blessed for the time we shared. His wonderful and successful family is direct reflection of his work ethic, kindness and sense of humor.
This is an incredibly beautiful tribute to Uncle Ron, as well as an extremely accurate description of him, his passions and personality! I will truly miss him! He never failed to make me smile and laugh … and more importantly, I will miss seeing him and my mom together. I loved seeing how he made her face light up!! Precious and unforgettable…. we will miss him greatly!
Mr. Ron Spinelli Ronnie was sort of a business mentor to me on many topics though out my life. He gave me quite a bit of guidance, and explained how things in the real world worked in business. He had a special way of dealing with ups and downs and would let it roll off him like water off a duck…..He would take the time to interact with you one on one, and review each and every detail to make sure you were protected. He really liked to hear about other peoples success rather than his own. Ronnie is 1 out of a billion. I know that his wife, daughter, son and grandchildren will miss him in their own separate ways. Know that now he is free to look down on you and smile at you from a distance. God rest his soul in eternal peace and happiness for ever and ever Amen.
A little joke for you in Heaven Mr. Spinelli…
A very distinguished lady was on a plane arriving from Switzerland. She found herself seated next to a nice priest whom she asked:”Excuse me Father, could I ask a favor?”
“Of course my child, What can I do for you?”
“Here is the problem, I bought myself a new sophisticated hair remover gadget for which I paid an enormous sum of money. I have really gone over the declaration limits and I am worried that they will confiscate it at customs. Do you think you could hide it under your cassock?”
“Of course I could, my child, but you must realize that I can not lie.”
“You have such an honest face Father, I am sure they will not ask you any questions”, and she gave him the ‘hair remover’.
The aircraft arrived at its destination. When the priest presented himself to customs he was asked, “Father, do you have anything to declare?”
“From the top of my head to my sash, I have nothing to declare, my son”,he replied.
Finding this reply strange, the customs officer asked, “And from the sash down, what do you have?”
The priest replied, “I have there a marvelous little instrument designed for use by women, but which has never been used.”Breaking out in laughter, the customs officer said, “Go ahead Father. Next!”
We are heartbroken about Ron’s sudden passing. His humor, kindness, and story-telling will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to you all and may God give you comfort.
Lex, Joe and Caryn, we are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember the fun we had playing cards, going out for dinner and the hours spent talking on the phone about cars. Only fast cars though. Thank you for being our friend. We will miss you. Joe and Karen
