JoAnn M Goodwin Relation to Deceased: Family friend Ennocenti Family There are many happy memories I have of Rose one of which was her kindness in always making sure I got my jars of pickled peppers when I came to Rochester to visit from Canada. As she was my best friends Mother she was also like a second mother to me and to my family. Thanks Rose you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, JoAnn and family Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earth shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s will There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand: do it now, while life remaineth you shall rest in Jesus’ land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come!
Joan (Cookie) Ryder My fondest memories of Rose are her laughter, her humor and her love of funny cards. I can still hear her tell stories of standing in a store aisle reading and laughing at the card selections. I found many of those cards that she sent to my mother, Jennie, when she was ill. They were still funny after 20 plus years ! Rose was a one of a kind person. Gererous, loving and full of spirit. She knew how to live a full life and helped others do the same. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.
Jane & Don Smith Relation to Deceased: Old neighbors and good friends Remembering all the good times we shared with Rose and Dom. Rose was like a second Mom, she helped with our kids when they were small, they all think of her with love. She also shared her wonderful cooking with us. We have had some very good neighbors thru the years but none can compare to Rose. She lives on in our hearts. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Craig Smith Relation to Deceased: Neighbor I thank God for having the opportunity to know Rose, my childhood memories are vivid of a kind and loving woman. Now at 49 years old I still can not see or taste fine Italian food without thinking of Rose and hearing her sweet voice.
