  1. Carolyn and Paul:

It is with such great sadness that I write this message regarding Carolyn’s beloved mom, Ruth. Tomorrow, Jan. 12, is Ruth’s birthday, and every year on her birthday, I would call her and wish her a happy long life. I know that this is very hard on you Carolyn, but your mom had a long happy life, and now she is with God, and her beloved Charley. I know in my heart of hearts, that Charley was waiting for Ruth at the “Rainbow Bridge” and took her up to Heaven so that God could embrace her and Charley, and say welcome home my beloved daughter, Ruth. I have only happy memories of Ruth. I know one time at a family get together I wanted to give her a hug, and I hesitated. Ruth told me “Diane, I may be small, but I will not break.” From that time on, whenever I saw Ruth, I always gave her a hug. My sister has a saying “This too shall pass.” However, time does have a way of healing a person but, Carolyn, Ruth will always be with you in spirit and in your heart.

    My deepest sympathies,

    Diane

  2. Ruth will be greatly missed. She was a special lady and I had an immediate friendship with her from the first day we met. She was a remarkable lady who always had a smile, even when things were rough. I so blessed to have known her. I am thankful I got to say Goodbye to her before she passsed. The staff at Grandville all loved her so much! To Ruth’S family, she spoke so highly of you and was so proud of you. I’m sorry for your loss & I will keep you in my prayers.

  3. Carolyn and Family,

We are thinking of you during this difficult time.
Hoping you can take comfort in the beautiful memories.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Joe and Kate
