It was with sadness that we received word of Sam’s passing. Lillian and I have known him and his family for many years and during that time attended many get-togethers with some of his many friends. Some of his enviable traits were devotion to family, an infectious smile, a wonderful voice which he used to sing Italian favorites, a work ethic that never quit, not even after retirement, a gardener with a very green thumb and his willingness to help others.
Although he is no longer with us, his legacy and memory will live on with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
