Steven is predeceased by his parents, Antoinette & Frank DiStefano. He is survived by his brother, Michael DiStefano; many cousins and dear friends.

Steven was born on October 29, 1956 in Rochester, NY. He graduated from Jefferson High School in June of 1976 and later earned an associates degree at Monroe Community College. During this time Steve worked part time and volunteered as a Teen on Patrol. In 1979 he decided to join the United States Air Force and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. He completed four years of service and retired as a Sargeant of the Security Police. In 1983 he began his career with the City of Rochester, finishing his 37 years with the Operations Department.

Steven was a loving and caring man and displayed this to his family and friends. He was athletic and excelled at everything he did. In 1996 he won the New York State Bowling Association Scratch Singles Title. He wil be deeply missed by his family and friends.

His life story will be celebrated during visitation 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, March 11th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am on Wednesday, March 12th at the Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road. His burial will take place in Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu, NY. The courtesy of no flowers would be appreciated.
