Steven Joseph Pavone
October 25, 1984 – June 11, 2025
Steven Joseph Pavone was born in the early hours of October 25, 1984, at Rochester Regional Hospital at RGH. From the moment he entered the world—just two hours after his mother, Georgia, arrived to the hospital—he was already bonded to her, earning the nickname “little dude.”
The youngest of three siblings, Steven grew up in Rochester, NY, surrounded by the love of his big sisters, Maria and Christine. Raised by Georgia, a devoted stay-at-home mom, and Steve, a hardworking salesman, Steven’s childhood was filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of four-legged friends.
Over the years, Steven had many beloved pets—including a hamster named Snowball, a mischievous ferret named Crash, and family dogs Sandy and HoneyBun—but none held his heart like Gracie, the dog who was by his side through thick and thin and stayed loyally with him until the very end.
Steven attended Guardian Angels, Good Shepherd, Siena Catholic Academy, and Rush Henrietta High School. From a young age, his talents and passions were clear. He was smart, athletic, and funny, with a mind that loved to build, create, and play. Whether he was tearing up the trails on dirt bikes and ATVs, gaming into the night, or diving into the guts of a computer to build it from scratch, Steven poured his whole heart into the things he loved. And if it was Sunday—rest assured, he was watching the Buffalo Bills.
He had strong opinions, especially about food. He was famously picky and made no apologies for steering clear of anything vegan. But where his tastes were particular, his heart was boundless. Steven was loving, warm, generous to a fault, and kind-hearted to everyone he met.
He was a natural entrepreneur who made a name for himself in the ticketing industry, co-founding and running Ticket Solutions LLC. Known for his signature line, “Anyone selling tickets?” he built a life and a business that let him fully enjoy life, often with his best friends by his side. Steven’s tight-knit friendships with Dustin Waterman, Quentin Gordon, and Izzy Garcia were like brotherhoods. As Dustin recalled, “We met in high school and traveled the country together for years. People thought we were brothers. He was always a great listener, so smart, and he could make us laugh no matter what. He’ll never be replaced.”
Steven’s world revolved around the people he loved most: his family, his friends, his house, and Gracie. He adored his mom, Georgia, and admired his grandfather George D’Ambrosia, who took him everywhere. Aunt Wanda taught him how to fix a roof before he was 10. Gene Dunn helped shape his tech genius. His grandma Rosie lovingly called him “Stevie Joe,” and Uncle Frank gave him unforgettable memories fishing.
He lived with passion, loyalty, and a fierce love for those closest to him. Whether blasting his favorite Young Dolph track, playing Call of Duty all night, or riding through the woods on his ATV, Steven found joy in the moments that mattered.
Steven will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew. His legacy is one of generosity, laughter, devotion, and heart. He was a light to many, and though his time here was too short, his impact will be felt forever.
We love you, Stevie Joe.
