February 13, 2013. Survived by her children, Lori S. Pilcher, Terri L. (Rick) DiMaggio, Cheryl (Chris) Hochheimer; grandchildren, Mandi Casey Hochheimer, Gianna, Matt Michael DiMaggio; brother Bill (Dottie) Amann; several nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 PM 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Sue's funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at the funeral home. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CP Rochester, 3399 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623, or Friends of Mt. Hope Cemetery, P.O. Box 18713, Rochester, NY 14618-0713 in Sue's memory. Sue was very proud of her career as a nurse at Highland Hospital. She also volunteered at Genesee Country Museum, Sonnenberg Gardens, and Friends of Mt. Hope. She was passionate about all things where her creative talents could be used, especially gardening. In her spare time, besides gardening, she enjoyed genealogy, knitting, ceramics, sports, and reading. Those who knew Sue would best describe her as artistic, giving, an active volunteer, witty, intelligent, loving, athletic, always busy, strong, resilient, and someone how had a great sense of humor and loved sweets! Sue will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
