October 21, 2014. Theresa is predeceased by her husband, Stephen Andrews. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Norah) Andrews; daughters, Cheryl (Dominick) Cimino, Michelle Andrews Theresa Andrews; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Chamberlin; and several nieces nephews. Theresa enjoyed bowling during her free time and she retired after 25 years of serving the Pittsford Central School District working as a school bus driver.
Theresa's visitation will be Friday from 2-4 PM 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 840 University Avenue Rochester, NY 14607 in Theresa's memory.
Theresa grew up on Romane Street in Rochester, NY along with her parents and two sisters. During her childhood, she loved to go bowling with friends and family. Theresa graduated from high school and became a school bus driver for the Pittsford Central School District. Her career spanned for 25 years at the Pittsford Schools. Theresa married her husband Stephen and they raised 4 beautiful children together. Everybody in Theresa's family has dogs and Theresa loved all of the family dogs and thoughtfully remembered to include the dogs at Christmas time. Theresa's favorite hobby was going to the casino, so every year on her birthday Theresa's family would take her to the casino to celebrate where she really enjoyed herself. Theresa also enjoyed watching football and she really loved the Miami Dolphins team. Her family said that she was a great cook and always enjoyed the holidays and spending time with her family was important to her.
Theresa is described as happy person who had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. Her children said that Theresa was so funny at times that her daughters and granddaughter, Sheri would pee her pants because she laughed so hard. Theresa was also described as the matriarch of the family and that she was kind, considerate and always very welcoming to others around her. Theresa's wonderful personality will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
