My condolences and prayers go out to the Hamill family. I met Tom years ago golfing with my dad, Joe, and Tom on Sunday mornings. I found him to be a kind and gracious man, a ready foil to my father. I know that, if there’s a set of links in heaven the old foursome will be rejoined and they’ll be kibitzing their way around the course. Until we see each other again.
I first met Tom in February, 1973 when I transferred to the gas department. He was one of the people who trained me. He dropped me at a greece building for a electric read. ( I’ll be right here when you get done!) . Truley believable statement. Guess who left? After 10-15 minutes looking for him, here he comes around the corner laughing, chuckling with his big grin!! He was watching me stew as to where he went. Tom reminded me of a big leprechan! His Gold was in the heart, smile and great Irish humour. Still remember like yesterday, stuck in the heart & mind.
