Tom was born August 30th, 1961 in Brockport, NY. He was the son of Larry and Betty Sheffield. He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Maddox and granddaughter, Zahria Maddox; siblings, Steve (Micheil) Sheffield, Darlene (Rocco) Gervasi and Linda Harris; several nieces and nephews- Amber, Melissa, Tony, Joey, and Marc. Tom's memorial service will be celebrated Saturday November 7th at 11:00 a.m at the Brockport Free Methodist Church located at 6787 4th Section Rd, Brockport, NY, 14420. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, HERE or American Heart Association/American Stroke Association PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005 in his memory. He and his siblings learned at a very young age how to support each other during Tom's difficulties with illness. Tom's family was everything to him! His happiest times were when he was surrounded with all of his family, watching football, and eating good food. He was a kind and gentle soul and tried his best to be a good son and father in the midst of great physical pain. Tom will be so greatly missed and forever in our hearts. To one of the most courageous people we have ever known. Rest in peace in the Savior's arms!
