Greece: Died peacefully at home on May 28, 2022, taken too soon at the young age of 59 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, he was surrounded by the love of his life Bonnie and daughters Amanda and Katie. Our hearts are broken and we will never be the same.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Henshaw and in-laws, Tom and Linda Burgio.
His memory will be kept alive and cherished by his loving wife and soul mate of 34 years Bonnie; daughters, Amanda (Russ), Katie (Patrick); grandchildren, Adrianna & Elijah; mom, Frances (Patricia); brothers, David (Pam), Mark (Monica), Paul (Sue), sister, Darlene (Bill); brother and sister in law, Tom & Tammy Burgio; niece, Alyssa; nephews, Ryan, Brandon, Mitchell, Tyler and Jacob; many dear friends and co-workers.
Tom was an employee of LeChase Construction where he worked for 23 years. He loved his job and all his fellow co-workers and friends.
To know Tom was to love him. Tom was always ready to help anyone with anything and he had a heart of gold. He was selfless in all that he did. Tom loved and cherished time spent with his family.
Tom was a proud US Airforce veteran where he served his country for 4 years. He volunteered for many years for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Spino Foundation.
Tom enjoyed fishing, boating, hiking, snowshoeing, watching Andy Griffith and working on monthly Home Depot projects with Adrianna.
Tom's life story will be shared during his visitation on Friday June 3, 2022 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte. 390 & Long Pond Rd.) Friends and family are invited to attend Tom's Funeral Mass on Saturday June 4 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 Ridge Rd. W.
