I am saddened to hear of the loss of Valarie. She used to complete my taxes years ago and we had so many nice conversations and laughs along the way. Valarie was such a wonderful lady with an exceptional personality. She will truly be missed.
Val Hill was a kind, beautiful, and loving lady as well as a friend to so many of us in this community. I have many fond memories of practicing and performing theater shows with Val and the rest of the St. Monica’s and St. Augustine’s troupe back in the late 70’s and early 80’s when we are all so young. She was a bright and shining star and like so many if us, I loved her dearly. Rest in peace sister, I will never forget you.
Brent and family, Dave and I were shocked to see of Val’s passing. Mere words cannot express the sorrow we feel. Val has taken care of us for over 30+ years. She was so happy to receive the Pepsi soda can I brought her from my trip to Okinawa!! She will definitely be missed by Dave and myself!!!! Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to you all. Love, Dave and Peg
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Val and I were good friends in elementary school and I spent many days at your house. You have a wonderful family. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Patty
I am still in shock of hearing of Valerie’s passing. We have known each other for many years and I can still remember when she came into my very first Art Studio at Village Gate and told me she was an accountant and asked me if I had one. My immediate response was that I wasn’t interested and she replied “Well I hope you don’t get screwed with anyone else you might go with.” it was right then that I knew that we would be friends and colleagues for a long time.
Valerie has taken care of my business and counseled me and my husband Jack on a number of instances.
I can see her face right now and she had the best smile that would light up a room. Sending my condolences and healing thoughts and prayers to your family. I have personally experienced loss and I can tell you that as much as this hurts now, in the coming months and years only the good things and a happy times will help heal the pain. That’s what you’ll remember and hold dear.
Peace and healing to you.
What a shock to learn of Valarie’s passing. I have been a client of hers
for over 30 years. I always looked forward to talking with her every March and catching up on the year’s activities. She always made me laugh
and I actually enjoyed having my taxes done. I don’t know the circumstances
surrounding her death, but I can not imagine the loss many friends and her family are feeling. She will be missed by so many.
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Val’s passing. My heart breaks for you Brent, and all of her family and friends. I met Valarie some 25 years years ago. We shared both a professional relationship and a personal friendship. Over the years, we had many great talks. She was always ready with warm words, smiles, and laughs. We talked of our growing families, kids, and of course our pets. Professionally she always was on top of everything, and I knew whatever I needed she was only a phone call away. I am truly heartbroken. May God give all of those who knew and loved Val peace and comfort during this very sad time. May you rest in the arms of the angels my friend. You will be truly missed. There are just no other words. R.I.P.

While we have only know you and Valarie for a short time, She will be very much missed. I hope you will be comforted knowing Valarie is at peace, and we will all be reunited in our time. Time does not make things better it will only lessen your pain. Please accept our condolences.
I met Valarie just short of one year ago. The two of us hit it off right from the start. Valarie was an incredible boss and mentor and very quickly became a friend. She truly was one of a kind. Her unforgettable & contagious smile, her heart of gold.
Val, thank you for being you. Thank you for seeing things in me I never saw in myself until I met you and thank you for welcoming me so warmly into your world as both a friend and employee. I am forever changed because I had the blessing of knowing you. I will miss you. Rest In Peace sweet lady.
Thank you Valerie for all your smiles, your compassion, and making my brother’s caregiving happen. When everyone else said NO, you said YES. Rest in peace and know that you will be missed.
Valarie was not only my Boss for the past 13 years, she was a Great Friend to me. I’ve learned so much from her. I will cherish that forever. She will truly be missed. My heart goes out to her family ♥️
I will always remember the beautiful lady with her sparkling hair sitting in the sun reading and relaxing.Val was a beautiful person inside and out.She is definitely an angel.
A piece of my heart is in heaven. Valarie, you are in my heart, in my thoughts and will be in my life forever. My husband and I never thought of Valarie as our daughter-in-law, but as our daughter. Valarie was unique in every way. I had never met anybody like her before. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone. Brent and Valarie were so compatible for each other, a marriage made in heaven. Fifteen years of marriage and still deeply in love. I always thought they would grow old together, but apparently, God had his own plan for Valarie. All of our lives were turned upside down when the angels came for our beloved Valarie. We know she’s keeping watch over all of us, especially Brent who she always called her soulmate. Whenever you look up towards heaven, you will know which one is Valarie…..she will be the one with the golden glitter on her wings and halo. I love you so much my darling “daughter”.
I am heartbroken to hear that Valerie has passed. My husband Lee and I have been clients for many years. Our deepest condolences to her husband, family and co- workers @ Flower City Tax.
