Veronica (née Keegan) Richardson Born February 17, 1928 in Terenure, Dublin Ireland. Died January 24, 2024, in Greece NY, suddenly at Unity Hospital. Veronica was 95 years old. Veronica was born to parents Patrick and Mary (Feehan) Keegan. Veronica and Jack met in Arklow Co. Wicklow on the southeast coast of Ireland. Veronica married Jack Richardson on February 21st, 1950. They remained married for 61 years until Jack's passing on April 14, 2011. Veronica and her daughter Joan immigrated to the United States in the summer of 1960. Jack immigrated to the United States in 1958 to prepare a path forward for his wife and young child. Veronica worked at various companies within the Rochester area, her last employment was with Eastman Kodak Company. Upon retirement Jack and Veronica returned to Dublin and divided their time between Ireland and the USA. They enjoyed many years traveling around Ireland, Europe, and the USA. Veronica enjoyed traveling around the Finger Lake district in Upstate NY, tasting a sample of wine along the way. She also loved to travel across the US border to Canada, a visit to Niagara on the Lake was a fond get-away. Veronica is survived by her only child, her daughter Joan. Her sister Delores (Dorrie) and many nieces and nephews. Extended family in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Wales, Canada, Alaska and USA. The family of Veronica would like to thank the following: Dr. Yao Chen, Dr. Nathan Ritter, Dr. Jason Lyons, and the medical staff of Rochester Regional Health for their wonderful care. Veronica's Funeral Service will be private. Veronica's final resting place will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mass will be said for Veronica at Whitefriar Street Church, Aungier Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. An Irish Blessing May the road rise to meet you.
