Greece: Died peacefully on September 24, 2014 with his beloved wife of 62 years, Marie, by his side. Predeceased by his son-in-law, Mark R. Semple. Walter is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Debi (Gary) Smith; son, Michael (Linda) Lyding; daughter, Kelly Semple; grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Giammarco, Brett Semple, Erin Semple; great-grandchildren, Olivia Gianna Giammarco. Walt was a devoted family man, a Kodak retiree, avid golfer, and lover of the outdoors. His smile and gentle manner made the world a better place for all who knew him. The family is very grateful for the kind and excellent support that Walter and his family received from the Cottages at Unity. It was Walt's wishes that services and interment be at the convenience of the family.
