  1. I am Very Sorry for the loss of Bill. He was a all around good guy and was a still a

dear friend to many of his former 1969 classmates. He will be remembered for his

kindness, good humor, and amazing laughter. RIP Bill

  2. One of my fondest memories with him was when he drove myself and both his sons Will and Adam to a Bills game and we got to ride in the back of the truck the whole ways and just be kids. It was cold fun and a great day for family and football.

  3. I was with Bill playing sandlot football with the neighborhood guys the day of his accident. Went with him a couple times to rehab and Arnett Y. He was our trusty manager for both soccer and basketball. “Blizzard Bill” or just Blizzard was his call. Made many after game road trips with him. Just a great guy. So glad I got to see him a year ago at Steve Brews to get caught up. Just a mountain of a guy in my childhood days. RIP my friend.

  4. I vividly remember hearing about Bill’s accident the next day in junior high. Bill was the equipment manager for our freshman soccer team. We were all shocked and devastated. I was amazed that despite this tragedy Bill remained cheerful and did not let this disability get in his way.
May you Rest In Peace Bill.

  5. My deepest condolences for your loss!!! I considered Bill a GOOD FRIEND !!! He was an honest man and loved his sons dearly !!! He will be sorely missed !!! Take Care, Douglas Hessler

  6. Only the best memories of watching the Super bowl for 25 years with Bill

In 2018 we took pizza and a toaster over to the nursing home in Houghton to watch the game/

In 2017 we had trouble finding Bill. Two days before the game we were visiting sick relative at Unity Park Ridge and found him there. There were tears in many eyes when we walked into his room 10 minutes before the game with Pizza and wings from our regular place.

He was my best friend for the last 20 years + I am very grateful that our sons met in school and introduced us.

Our best wishes to his family and all who knew him. He is at peace. Let all rejoice in the great memories we will always have of his smile and his laugh
