Greece: February 11,2014. Predeceased by her parents, Sebastian Bement Angela Becker. Survived by her loving husband, Frederick L. Graff; children, Diane (Tom) Lynch, Jim (Debbie) Graff, Joanne Cornish, Janet Graff; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Staples, Sylvane Kuter, Norene Hogan; brother, Charles (Edie) Bement; many nieces nephews. Winifred's funeral service is 11AM on Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd, Fairport, NY 14450 in Winifred's memory. Winifred was born on Langham Street and grew up on Carlisle Street. As a child, Winifred was quiet, shy and close to her mother. She enjoyed spending time with her cousins. Winifred attended and graduated from John Marshall High School. Winifred worked at Neisner's. She also babysat for friends and family, cooked, cleaned and grocery shopped for the priests at St. Charles Borromeo Church. She also worked as a bookkeeper from Monroe Abstract. Winifred met her loving husband on a blind date which was set up by Vic Zukaitis. Winifred and Frederick were happily married at Sacred Heart Cathedral on October 1, 1955. Winifred really enjoyed family reunions, grandkids events, and New Yea'rs Eve. Some of her favorite activities included, crafts, painted ceramic dolls, collected dolls, garage sales, estate sales, loved being outside, working in the garden, shoveling the driveway, card playing which included pinochle and euchre, and she loved dogs. Her favorite shows were," I Love Lucy" and" The Golden Girls." Friends and family would best describe Winifred as being funny, having a sense of humor, someone who liked simplicity, was thrifty, selfless, always put others first, a devoted grandmother, mother and wife, spiritual, and social. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
