“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and forever dear ” I will always remember your warm smile and the way you treated everyone with kindness and compassion. You were a great friend to so many. To the entire Dunbar family I pray for God’s love and strength during this difficult time.
Uncle Zach I still can’t believe I’m writing on a website my condolences. You were such a strong man. Above all a great family man. You inspired me in so many ways. One day I hope I’m as strong as a person as you were. Now you’ve gotten your heavenly reward. Please watch over me and the rest of our family. You will forever be missed and your name will stay alive forever. As the tears roll down my face I prepare to attend your wake. Lord knows it won’t be easy. I love you uncle Zach until I see you again …. Latricia

I am deeply saddened and surprised by the news of Zach’s passing. I first met Zach when we were both assigned to work at the Academy as counselors back in 1996. Zach was always joking and smiling, you couldn’t help but be in a good mood whenever you were around him. We only worked together for a year, but he made that year more enjoyable. People whom we’ve known for only a short amount of time can have a bigger impact on us than those we’ve known forever. RIP
A true and dear friend will be missed. Zachary we became friends in 1989, at State Police Barracks -SP Poughkeepsie and remained friends ever since. You will be missed my dear friend especially that wonderful laugh of yours. Until we meet again my brother , you will always be in my thoughts.
To me Zach, was a good friend and good person, always smiling and never hesitated to stop and have a conversation with you, i am proud of the fact that I knew him and he will be always remembered, rest in peace my friend.
Zach – From the first time I met you at SP Poughkeepsie you made me smile and every time I was with after that you made me laugh. The world is a lesser place without you. R.I.P. my brother.
