June 24, 2016 at age 26. He is survived by his loving parents, Gary Lynda (Shafer) Scialdone; grandparents, Donald Norma Shafer; brother sister-in-law, Alex Alexandra; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends. During Zachary's childhood, he liked what most young boys like; Captain Underpants books, karate animals. His interests shifted to swords, snowboarding and ninjas. The teenage years brought Radiohead, The Cure, and Manga Anime. He enjoyed watching Korean movies and really loved movies in general. Zachary was an animal lover and had a dog named Cody. He spent time listening to music, drawing, was interested in Asian culture, and playing video games. He enjoyed his trips to Myrtle Beach, Lumina Resort and Canada. Zachary's favorite movie was Old Boy, he also liked "See you Space Cowboy" and "Cowboy Bee Bop." Zachary also had a girlfriend, Caitlyn who he was introduced to by a mutual friend. Zachary had a unique and strong personality, but was shy, funny and very bright, also creative. He will be dearly missed. Zach's visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) His funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
