To my old bowling team mate at Domm’s Bros. friend, coworker, and mentor, may you niw soar with the angel’s, friends and family members. It was an honor knowing you and so glad I saw you this past summer at the ARPALER pinic.R.I.P Big Al.
Al,
It’s been a long road from Whitney Street, to Madison High, to the Police Department then ARPALER. Through it all you’ve been a great friend and brother police officer. We had many laughs together and many serious times on the job and I have to say that your heart was always in the right place.
Rest in peace my brother, you earned it.

There is and will be only one Al Brunette. He “broke me in” at the RPD and then later went on to re-roof my roof and those of several family members. Once you were a friend of Al’s you were a lifetime friend and, Brunette family, I know that you have lost a true blue family member as have us from the RPD. Sincere condolences on your loss and you are in our prayers. Gary and Bonnie Birkahn (RPD).
The Association of Rochester Police and Area Law Enforcement Retirees (ARPALER) sends prayers and condolences to the family of Detective Brunette and we salute him for his service to his community and his support of our Association. Rest in peace Brother.

Good bye Al, it was great working with you back in the 70’s Clinton Section. Go with God.

I worked with Al for many years in the “Bureau”. A burly fellow with the softest heart. I am so sorry for your loss of one great man.
