May the Lord draw you so very near to him during this time of unrelenting grief and sorrow. May you know that your tears are not the only ones shed over the loss of your beloved, but that Jesus weeps with you.
I pray for peace that surpasses all understanding for the family and friends. May you feel the loving arms of the Lord surround you and strengthen you in your darkest moments.
I will never forget the first time I met Blaine at camp. I offered the sweet young boy in the straw hat $5 to start my fire. He started a raging fire but would not take my money,; however , he never said no to an ice cream, a s’more, or a good steak. He will be one of my fondest memories of camp.
Blaike was a ray of sunshine as a little boy and grew into one of the finest young man We knew, alway friendly , out going and a smile that lit up the great outdoors. As a boy of 10 or 11 he was a knowledgeable fisherman and knew his way around a boat, I will never forget what a gentleman he was when we were docking and he took charge tying the boat to the dock and extending his hand to help me get off the boat safely. We sure are going to miss him so much and he will never be forgotten by anyone who had the privilege to know him and spend time with him. He will live on in the heart and memories of many. Happy sailing Blaike until we see you again Love you Aunt Cindy and Uncle Ed

I will cherish the picture I have of Blaike and I with his first pheasant at 13 years old.
