With deepest sympathy to Saraniero family. I remember many weekends hanging out with him he never seem to meet a stranger and seemed like an identical twin of his dad, My prayers and thoughts to his wife and children his mother ,Anthony and his family and his sisters and their family may God bless you in your time of sorrow,
My deepest condolences go out to his wife Angel the children, his family and friends.
The video is very powerful and fills my heart with the happiness i saw in his eyes.
His parting invokes the strongest memories in me in our youth. I can see his smile and hear his laugh. I knew him when he was Donald the older brother, the guy who let me sit there, sometimes, but always cared about me, his sisters and brothers. He treated me the same as he did them. What more can a kid ask for.
Time or lack of it separated me from Donald and all of you but no matter how much time passes I will always think of Donald with soft eyes.
my thoughts are with you today, tomorrow and through infinity. God bless Donald and all of you.

Donald Saraniero was like an all Inclusive, kind, fun, older brother to me, much like Michael Saraniero, as I was best friends with Anthony Saraniero, at 14 years old and finding myself and coming of age. I am very grateful for the kindness of his wonderful Mother Marie Saraniero and Father Donald Saraniero Sr., who included me in their family home and hosting many hangouts with Anthony and our friends. Listening to music and hearing bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Allman Brothers and may others when Donald and Michael played them for Anthony and I for the first time, with the poetry in rock lyrics of concept albums for the first time, had a profound influence on me. I have always been VERY grateful for this, as well as the help in forming my social skills, and above all for all the GREAT, JOYFUL MEMORIES!!! My heart, prayers and condolences go out to Donald’s wife and children and his wonderful Mom, my longtime friend Anthony and his wife Sue and children, brother Michael, Sisters Rene and Carolyn and their families and loved ones! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! May GOD Bless Donald’s soul as he travels into eternity, LOVE -Always, Forever, Now.[billy lamont]
I am heartbroken to hear the news of Donald’s passing. My condolences to Angel, his children and the entire Saraniero family. Donald was a great friend and a true gentlemen. I remember with great fondness my early years and time spent with Donald, Anthony and the entire Saraniero clan. Donald always made us feel like part of the family and always welcomed us with his trademark big smile and kind heart. I will forever cherish our friendship and will always remember the great passion Donald had for everything in life.
Rest in peace my friend. Although the years put some distance between us I will never forget the great times in North Babylon and the true meaning of friendship that I learned through your passion and zeal for life and all things that you touched. You will be missed but your smiling face will forever live in my heart. Until we meet again…
With much sadness, I wish to express my deepest condolences to Donald’s wife, children, mother, sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces and cousins. My nephew, Donald will always be remembered lovingly and will be included in my prayers. May God shower him with His blessings and may he enjoy peace in heaven.
With much love,
Aunt Betty
I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Don’s passing, and extend my condolences to all of you. While I have not seen my cousin in quite a few years, I have often thought of him and spoken about him as well. Whenever anyone thinks of Donald, the first thing that comes to mind, immediately, is his bright smile, which he inherited from his parents, especially his most beautiful, loving mother, Marie. As anyone who knew Donald will tell you, his smile was contagious, no matter what the circumstances were at that moment in time. Indeed, Donald’s smile was amply displayed in the lovely pictorial/video attached to his obituary. Even at such a solemn time, looking at photos of Donald in happier times put a smile on my face. I know that I will think of Donald very often, and will always remember him as my cousin “Donny” with that happy smile of his. I pray that all of his family will remember him that way as well, and can take some solace from that.
To the family and friends I express my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear love one. Losing a love one can cause great Pain and Sorrow. Jesus experienced the loss of his friend and he wept (John 11:33,35,38). At John 5:28,29 we are comforted in knowing that our love ones will live again through the hope of the Resurrection. Also at Isaiah 26:19 it says “Your dead will live… the earth will let those powerless in death come to life”. When we allow our Heavenly Father, Jehovah, to comfort us through the scriptures we learn more about the promises and blessings that we are yet to receive (Psalms 83:18; 2 Corinthians 1:3,4).
