Elvira grew up in the Jefferson Ave. Neighborhood. She met Gregory the love of her life and the two were married at St. Peter Paul Church.
Elvira put her family first above all else. She was most happy when all of her family "returned home" to Rochester. It was these times that her family found themselves celebrating in her home.
In 2000 Elvira went on a trip to Italy. It was this trip that she found herself visiting her families old homesteads and reminiscing about years gone by.
Elvira was at her best while working her craft in the kitchen. Here she would bake or cook dishes to be shared by those she loved. Her grandchildren loved Nana's meatballs. She enjoyed making her Italian pastries at Easter time. Whether Elvira was baking or cooking it was never a chore for her. This was always an act of love that she looked forward to sharing with others.
She enjoyed creating ceramic pieces, sewing crocheting. She also enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels.
Elvira was quite the singer in her own right. She enjoyed a broad assortment of music to include: Big Band Tunes, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, Etta James Andrea Boccelli. The music she loved to listen to was always better when spent dancing with her husband Gregory.
Elvira could be described as a "5 Star General," generous, traditional, an advocate of Italian Culture and she was faith filled and regularly attended mass and prayed the rosary daily.
