  1. Carolyn, George was a very special man and I was privileged to work with him for many years. I remember so many good times, but what really comes to mind is when George knew I didn’t like my December b’day and so every July he would take me and several others to Roncone’s for my “eggplant parm” and then to Al’s for lemon ice. After that we would ride around through the old Italian neighborhood and he had so many stories. I have so many other great memories. Although I haven’t seen George is many years, I will never forget him. My sincere condolences to you and the family. Carol (Reddy) Coombe

  2. Carolyn and Family: As I shared with you last week, I will always remember George’s “huge heart” with the Christmas Luncheons and raising money through candy-jar raffles to purchase toys for less-fortunate kids. He was always there to support my Christmas wish with these collections! I also enjoyed so many laughs with he and BettyAnn – they were a great couple. Carolyn, you were fortunate to have a life with George too. I hope that the family holds on to all the memories that will bring you happiness when you continue to think of George! May he have eternal peace. Love you, my friend!

  3. My condolences Carolyn, and to all of George’s family and friends. I will always think of him as jovial and warm, and someone you liked to see and be with. He emphasized the expressions of “a big Teddy bear” and a “one of a kind”. Since I can’t emotionally handle wakes/services, please know that I will be grieving along with all of you.
