– Sverre Granheim
You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. I’m happy I had the honor and privilege in knowing Gunnar for most of my life. He was a very generous, humble and quiet man that helped me with many projects. I learned from him and he was very patient in teaching me those things. He was good to my mother, me and my children. He came to my kids sporting events at times, and always had a smile and was never negative about anyone. He’s with our lord and savior now and I’m sure he will watch over all of us. He is and will continue to be missed by all of us. Until we meet again, your friend.
Bjorn, Anita and Wilma, Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Gunner was a wonderful person and we are better for knowing him. He was a gentle and quite person and had a quite wit about him. We enjoyed the times we shared with him especially the time we spent during our cruise down the Danube. It was only five years ago, but seems like yesterday. We miss you already, rest in peace, until we meet again, Bob and Judy Moser
Gunnar was a very gentle soul and kind hearted gentleman. He will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers so out to his family and friends. RIP Gunnar. Your Funraiser friend, Rose Martin
May Gunnar’s memory lighten your heart. As Gunnar’s family wrote he was a devoted father. He was also a very great friend and coworker. I’ll miss Gunnar terribly! We shared a great interest in woodworking. We would exchange ideas and he would often share thoughts on how I could finish a project. It was always enjoyable to meet Gunnar for lunch and reminisce about our work at GRS.
With deepest sympathy,
His Friend Bill
My father was a gentle, strong and loving loving man. I have many fond memories of him but, my fondest was Sundays we spent together. He taught me to enjoy the simple things in life. Like time spent with love one are the most precious. I will miss his gentle guidance but, take comfort in the fact that he is at peace
While Gunnar and I were divorced and at times living in distant cities, our friendship remained strong. Together with our children, Bjorn and Anita, we shared many Christmas and birthday celebration. One very memorable event was when we, in 2014 spent one week in Rome, Italy to celebrate Gunnar’s 80th and Anita’s 50th birthday. He was a devoted family man and had a strong and loving relationship with both of his children. I will always treasure the time we had together.

I’m very fortunate to have had the privilege of being Gunnar’s son. There are no awards for being great at fatherhood, but my Dad certainty deserved one. He left me with no regrets about our relationship, only respect and love.
People are faceted and valuable just like diamonds. As you turn them and look at different sides you see them really shine. I encourage all to post their remembrances so we can share those facets and enjoy his shining life. Thank you.
Minneord om Gunnar!
Mine varmeste kondolanser til familien!
