Grieb Life Dates: 12/12/1936 - 1/19/2009 City Of Birth: Rochester, NY Pre-deceased by Predeceased by his mother father, Mildred Howard Grieb; granddaughter, Elizabeth Grieb; niece, Erin Grieb. Survived by Greece: January 19, 2009 at age 72. Jack died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving devoted wife of 46 years, Sally (Etu) Grieb; children, John (Ann) Grieb, Deborah (Christopher) Marion, Wendy (Ray) Brown, Elena (Mario) Correia; 11 grandchildren, Jack Grieb, Kathryn Grieb, Mitchell Grieb, Audrey Grieb, Rachel Marion, Christian Marion, Madison Brown, Joshua Correia, Austen Correia, Jacob Correia, Marlena Correia; brother, Daniel R. Grieb; brothers-in-law sisters-in-law, Carol (Larry) Wilkins of Canisteo, NY, Peter Etu of FL, Phyllis Clair of Honeoye Falls, NY, Helen (David) Landman of CA; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Jack will especially be missed by his companion and friend, his dog "Sarah". History Jack was an Air Force Veteran stationed in Taiwan. He worked for Star Market, was retired from Gannett Newspaper and worked for Guardsmark until recently. He was very active at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, where he was a Retreat Leader and he assisted at Funeral Masses. He assisted Fr. Heindl with Mass at Grandeville Living Center for 24 years. Jack enjoyed fishing with his children grandchildren and boating when he was younger. He was an avid reader of Christian Books. Services BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Jack's Visitation will be on Friday January 23, 2009 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Jack's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church (3003 Dewey Ave.). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
