  1. I am so sad to hear this news. I worked with Joe at Delco. He was a friend of the family and protected me like a another father. Almost 35 years ago Joe and Henrietta presented me with a gift at my wedding reception. It was our wedding invitation the he had preserved. He told me that he had gotten such a kick out it because our baby pictures were on it that he just had to do something special with it for us. It hangs on a wall in our home and has been the topic of many conversations for many years.

My friends from Delco, who protected me, are leaving one by one. George Junod, Joe, and too many more to mention. Always bigger than life in my naive innocent eyes I thought they were indelible and that they would always be there. My heart hurts but it is bittersweet … I knew they loved me. RIP Joe.

    Love,
    Debbie

  2. Growing up in a military family often kept us far from Rochester and family. Our visits were so special to me. It was exciting to see such a large family gathering for events. All of my Aunts and Uncles made our visit so special. I have special memories of the house on Fulton Ave and I have a very special memory of my Uncle Joe Angelone. Every year on my birthday until I was 21 years old a dozen red roses were delivered to me from Uncle Joe. He never missed a year no matter where we were stationed in the world. Roses were delivered to me weather we were in Fort Bragg, Germany, Taiwan or Okinawa. Thank you for loving me Uncle Joe. You made a difference in all of our lives. Susan Angelone Meininger
