I just found out about Marylou’s demise. Marylou and I worked together as physical therapists years ago. We became lasting friends even though I moved out of the area . She was an amazing therapist and person.! We are both Scorpios and she always said that Scorpios are survivors. Marylou was definitely a survivor and someone I admire so much. I miss her now and think of her often.
What a great and courageous lady! We first met while students at St Louis University and were roommates last year of college. We kept in touch and traveled together to Vegas, So Carolina, Boston and Maine. Had many trips to the Kentucky Derby but sadly not many winners. Mary Lou always had fun and was upbeat. She will be missed!!

Mary Lou and I were classmates and roommates at st Louis university . We were able to attend the Kentucky Derby on several occasions and Mary Lou always came with her list of horses to bet for herself and cousin Bill. What fun!! We also took trips to South Carolina, Las Vegas, Maine and Cleveland.
She was an amazing person with lots of spunk and good outlook in spite of her disability. I will our phone calls but am thankful for time we had together. My sympathy to her family.

We will miss a wonderful friend and a fabulous person, full of courage and strength. We will always remember our special times together in Saratoga with Mary Lou and our friend Bill, along with all our special parties and get togethers over the years. The last few years have not been easy, but you did it all with so much class, Mary Lou. Love you always, Susanna and Mike Duch
MaryLou was such a warm and wonderful person and she was always there for us! She was an amazing Grandma (Grandma Lou) to Hunter Joseph and he loved her dearly. She was also an amazing Mother in-law and Step Mother! She always made us feel like part of her family! We will always hold a very special place for her in our hearts 💕 She will be missed so much! All our Love always, Kyle, WendyJo and Hunter Joseph XO

I first met Mary Lou many years ago. I started calling her my hero after her illness started in 2004 when I found that she had the ability to overcome many problems forced on her by Transverse Myelitis ,a crippling disease, to live life on her own terms. Although she did not have use of her legs, she had her car converted to hand controls and drove herself for many years, If she had a physical problem, she found a way around it.
She was bright and upbeat and I never left a visit with her without a smile on my face. She is the only person I know that managed to move out of a nursing home to her own apartment. I miss her company and her “Can Do” spirit and our Sunday bird watching brunches. She was unique.
