To Mike’s Daughters: I am sorry I was not able to attend Mike’s funeral in person, but I just watched it online and it was beautiful! I knew your Dad from St. John’s and it is hard to find the words to describe him. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I so enjoyed our visits on Fridays in the Volunteer Office before he went on duty in the Ice Cream Shop. I also loved his sense of humor! May you find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with your Mom, your Aunt and your Grandparents.
Janice- I am so glad that my father and I got to join you and your father on the AMAZING Soaring Valor trip to the WWII Museum in New Orleans. We will always have wonderful memories of our fathers from that great adventure!
Janice: My husband and I will always remember Michaels’ warm smile. He would always greet us at the homecomings with the biggest hugs. We love you Michael. Rest In Peace friend. Thank you for your service.
Cousin Mike was a kind and endearing soul who I will personally miss immensely. He would frequently call me and want to know what the Air Force was doing..
I had the pleasure of meeting Mike at Saint John’s where I worked in the cafeteria. He always came in with the greatest smile in the kindest words. Great to know you Mike Colleen Mccarthy
I am so sorry about your father’s passing. Joe followed him to heaven’s gates the following day. I have so many fond memories of your father…he was a gentile soul. I used to enjoy chatting with him when I would run in to him at the Y. The Knights who have gone before Joe and dad are gathering for a meeting.
Please know you and your families are all in my prayers and you have my heartfelt sympathy.
As a member of MOS and former Employee Heath Nurse at St John’s Home, I have several fond memories of Mike helping out. A true gentleman, his kind and gentle manner was always welcome wherever he was. Enjoy the peace you’ve earned my friend. My condolences to his family and friends.
Oh dear Uncle Mike. You will be remembered as a great man with a wonderful soul. You never asked for anything, but was always willing to help others. Always happy with a smile on your face. I will cherish the memories of family holidays and birthday picnics. You will be greatly missed.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mike thru Our Mother Of Sorrows. I enjoyed our weekly phone calls where we chatted and prayed together. I am so glad I got to know this sweet man. Sending my deep condolences to Janice and the whole Perri family.
With deepest sympathy,
