  1. My Deepest Sympathy goes out to the McTaw family.
I recently learned of Pops passing from another Brockport Teammate when I was told of Coach Panaggio’s passing.
Pops was not only a great ball player but he was equally as great a teammate.
I can only shake my head as I think back on some of the athletic feats he could perform and of his uncanny ability to defuse some very intense moments during practice & games with that grin and a couple of well timed comments!
    Rest in Peace Pop!

  2. On behalf of Coach Christensen and his family, we send our deepest condolences to the McTaw family. Coach Chris was very saddened to hear of Pop’s passing. What a super athlete and mild mannered gentleman he was. I’m envisioning our Mom (Mrs. Chris) greeting him in heaven with open arms with God by her side.
    God Bless.

  3. “I will always remember the wonderful times we shared in high school. It was my privilege to play with such an outstanding athlete and basketball player. You will be missed.”
To the family of Monroe ,
    you have my sincere condolences.

  4. Chataqua, on behalf of your Benjamin Franklin c/o ’88 classmates, wishing you and your family faith and understanding during this difficult time. Take comfort in knowing he is at peace. May God bless you.

  5. I remember when we were small and every day after supper we would play “kick ball” in the alley way. POP was so tall every one wanted him on their team. We would say we got POP , WE GOT POP and he would say ” my momma got me. I remember this after all these years. God Bless your soul Pop! You are loved.

Also I remember my sister Gloria who was friends with his sister Linny learned that boys are stronger than girls one summer when he “slamed her on the ground”:)
