Phil was a remarkable man who touched the lives of everyone around him. Known for his wisdom, he was the go-to person for advice, and there wasn’t a problem he couldn’t fix. His grandchildren always felt special, each believing they were his favorite. Phil had a special touch with babies, earning him the affectionate titles of “baby whisperer” and “baby hog.” He was a role model for his children and grandchildren, always paying it forward and making the most of every moment. His loyalty as a friend was unwavering, encompassing both young and old friends.

Phil’s legacy began in 1964 when he joined the police force during the riots. He rose through the ranks to become a lieutenant in the Greece Police Department, establishing a family tradition of service that continues through his sons and grandchildren, marking over 61 years of dedication. After retiring, Phil enjoyed boating, working at the marina, and assisting his family with construction projects. Phil and his wife, Kathy, both cherished the time with their eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and their large, loving family.
