I’m so sorry for your recent loss. My deepest condolences to your family. Death of a loved one is never easy to endure, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Continue looking to God and you will always find comfort in him (2 Cor 1:3,4). He will soon destroy the enemy of death (1 Cor 15:26), and He will soon return our loved ones to us through the resurrection (John 5:28,29). Please visit JW.org and search “When Someone You Love Dies”, it helped me through some difficult times and I hope you can find comfort in it also.
We are so sorry to hear about Ricky. He was a wonderful friend, a kind person, Sarah’s god father, and a true inspiration with his fun and loving personality. Kevin loved him too, so much he asked if you and Ricky could be his god parents too! 🙂
I met Ricky back in the summer of 1985 when I started working for my father at Grinder Roofing. Ricky was already working there as a sheet metal man and crane operator. I got to know Ricky very well over the years. I remember Ricky driving and operating the crane almost daily with his stuffed toy companion (my little pony) he found and tied to the top of the crane. He would also leave Far Side clippings on Gary’s (my brother-in-law) work tray everyday as a ‘thought of the day’. He became real good friends with Michael (my ex-husband) and I know Ricky helped him during Mike’s hard times. He was loved by everyone, always had great judgement, very knowledgeable and always made us laugh.
Thea…We all share in the sorrow of your loss. He is someone so special to us that he will never be forgotten. With love and friendship…..Cheryl (Jones) Luster, Sarah and Kevin Luster.
Our deepest condolences for your loss. Rick was a sweetheart and just a wonderful man. We will miss his wry smile and happy spirit. Rest In Peace Rick.
We are sad to learn of Rick’s passing. He was a good person and a great friend. We have fond memories of spending time with Rick & Thea, as well as with his fine, feathered friends, Mango & Fruit Loops. We will treasure our memories of Rick. We were privileged to know him. We send loving and comforting thoughts to Thea and the whole family.
Thea, I am so sorry for your loss. Rick was a lucky man to have you by his side through his illness. He was a kind man and he was always making me laugh, even when I didn’t expect it! He will be missed and I really feel blessed knowing you both. With Sympathy and friendship, Shelly
Ricky was a wonderful friend and a kind person. He was always willing to help others, had a great sense of humor, and was always smiling, laughing and having a good time.
The Jones family has known Ricky for many years. Ricky worked for Jack Jones at Grinder Roofing as a sheet metal mechanic, an operating engineer, and was a very valued employee.
Ricky encouraged Karen (Jones) Berwind and her late husband (Gary) to adopt parrots after visiting with him one day. Karen and Gary have owned parrots ever since; and Karen is currently taking care of his Amazon parrot, Fruity, who is a WONDERFUL and very entertaining companion.
Thea…We are so sorry for your loss. You and Ricky were so great together! Our hearts go out to you during this time of sorrow. May the wonderful memories of Ricky give you peace and comfort…..Karen (Jones) Berwind, Jack Jones and Sandi (Barry) Jones.
