  1. “Mr. D” was my 5th grade homeroom teacher at Buckman Heights in 1975…I’ve often thought about him over the years…I was just going through a box of things and found the report card he wrote up for me…I don’t remember ever wanting to please anyone more than I did “Mr. D”: I idolized him. He was a unique combination of kindness, toughness, wisdom and something indescribable: a kind of charisma. I will always remember his example. Thank you for all you did for us, Mr. Dianetti.

  2. Sandra (Specht) Coloney Mr. Dianette, a teacher of mine in the 1950’s, was always so kind to all the students. He was one of my favorite teachers that I remembered. My sympathy to his family. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  3. Paula Dugan Relation to Deceased: Friend of Michael’s Mr. Dianetti always greeted us so warmly with his robust voice. Never judged us during our teenage trials and tribulations and continued to care about our lives as we grew and moved away. My last conversation with Romeo ended with him reciting his speech given at the Awards Banquet honoring Michael…it was promptu so I am not sure if he had memorized the speech or carried it in his pocket, but from the inflection of his voice in each carefully choosen word, I do believe the words were inscripted in his heart, and I can vividily hear them today. I trust as the basketball March Madness is in full swing, Michael, Romeo & his beautiful wife and family are among the shiniest stars that shine tonight. No doubt aglow with pride too hard for words to describe for his children’s families and the wonderful friends who kept the spark alive in Romeo, especially our dear Julie. Thank you Romeo and Dianetti family for allowing us the pleasure and joy of such wonderful men in our lives. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing

  4. LINDA M BEATY (KLEIN) Relation to Deceased: FORMER STUDENT Mr. Dianetti was the best teacher I ever had. He was by far my favorite. His enthusiasm and concern for everyone in the class was overwhelming. He definitely had an impact on my life. I will remember him always and thank him for his contribution to the profession. As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
