  2. Rosemary, I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He was a wonderful man and a great person to work with at Probation. He will be missed. We were away and could not attend his funeral service, but extend our deepest sympathy!

  4. Ron and I were good friends growing up and we both graduated from Aquinas together. As youths we had some great times together playing cards and just hanging out. Great friend and generally wonderful person. I will miss his infectious laugh. Joyce and I send our sorrows to Rosemary and prayers for Ron. Joyce and Bill Crandall

  5. As a somewhat troubled youth 49 years ago Mr. Marang became my probation officer. He was always respectful, firm and fair. He changed my life.
    I chose a successful career as a Firefighter to help others, as he helped me. Retiring this year as a Captain. God bless Mr. Marang. RIP.

  7. Rosemary, you have my sincere sympathy. I’ll always appreciate the advice you gave me about speaking to Liz during her final hours. It gave me great comfort and perhaps she even heard me.

  8. Ron was a well respected supervisor at Monroe County Probation and such a decent, nice man! He was my late husband’s supervisor and Jay always spoke highly of him. Peace and prayers to Ron’s family. Gail Turzillo
