Terry, Deb Zappia Relation to Deceased: Friend Tom, You will be greatly missed. Everytime we were together as friends, you always had only positive things to say about life. Your Determination and Drive to do anything was unmatched by anyone. You left this earth to early. Only the good die young!! and you were a great one!! Our hearts go out to your families & friends Terry & Deb Zappia The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody
Linda Padulo Dear Leslie and family: I am so sad to learn of Tom’s passing. I didn’t know him as long or as well as I would have liked but I remember him as a gentleman and a very nice, caring person. I’m sure you all have heavy hearts at this time and I will keep you in my prayers. May God bless.
Leslie A Chambers Relation to Deceased: wife You were an angel on earth and I feel you with us. Your gentle ways, angelic smile and warm hugs will stay close to us in memories. I love, love, love you. Your life, every minute of it was worth your time here on earth. What could make a life more valuable than that? You will be remembered…. Ride your Trek in Heaven Tom and I expect that it will be more than your usual 30 miles…. Love, Leslie I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
Keith & Lisa Marang Relation to Deceased: Co-Worker & Friend Dear Leslie, Brittany & Colin, My husband had the great privilege & honor to work with your husband & father at Goodyear. He was revered as a wise man by those who knew him & he had the ability to put a positive spin on any situation or problem that might occur. That in itself, was a gift. His sense of humor was priceless as well. I myself met him a few years ago (along with Leslie) and we all became friends, although our contact was mostly through emails after the few business meetings we had. I was inspired by his love of life, even during his battle w/ cancer, and it was that attitude that I adopted & made my own that carried me through my own recent battle w/ cancer. To say your husband & father was an inspiration falls short. He was a testament to faith, love, hope & the ability to see clearly that which truly matters. Your father did not die in vain. He left behind a legacy that we all should strive to fulfill. He also left behind a wife, a daughter and a son whose souls emminate that which he believed – that life is truly good, no matter what may come of it, and we should live, love & laugh our way through each day of it. In loving memory of Tom, we wish peace into your hearts. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. With gratitude, sympathy and heavy hearts, Keith, Lisa & Christopher Marang Goodyear Henrietta
