My special moment was our vacations to the Adirondacks. We went there numerous times to a very remote campgrounds. It was no KOA, but it was all my dads special gift to us kids( not than so much) it was my dads way and that was it. I can look back and reflect how great he was. We would have a black bear visit our site pretty much every nite. My dad never showed any fear. He would tell us kids to make a lot of noise by yelling and banging kettles together. He would be outside the tent with our dog Spot and he’s trusty pistol and protected us. At times dad was only a few feet from the bear. He’d fire off a few rounds, and than go look to see where the bear went. Our dad was a great dad and made those days a great memory.
To my dad,
Who I will miss daily, you were such a great dad who I loved dearly. You taught me so much and made me the person who I am today. Words can’t express what I feel only love and admiration. Miss you dad, will keep a special place in my heart. Love you always in Christ your loving daughter, Pam
