Michael (Mike) P. Yager was born October 21st 1966 in Rochester, NY. He grew up in the town of Greece, NY in the Koda-Vista neighborhood with his mother Shirley Yager, sister Mary, and brother Mark. Shirley was a saint as she raised Mary, Mike and Mark on her own and they were all just over 13 months apart. It was a chaotic house hold to say the least. One of many funny stories when they were children Mike was riding on the bottom of a shopping cart at Wegmans and Mark unhinged the shopping cart basket and the frozen turkey fell breaking Mike’s toe.

Mike attended and Graduated from Greece Olympia high school where he met his high school sweetheart and wife Danielle. In his teenage and young adult years he greatly enjoyed working at his business East Coast Tint, golfing, target shooting with his pistol and new pistol permit, camping, listening to his favorite band “Rush” and other rock music, and spending time with Danielle.

Mike went on to marry Danielle in Clear Water Beach Florida and start a family having 3 sons, Cameron (1993), Cullen (1995), and Connor (1998). Later in life Mike worked for the Eastman Kodak Company for 25 years earning many awards for his hard work. Mikes life revolved around his children, his greatest days were the days that his sons were born. His interests and favorite things later in life included Mike asking his sons “Did I tell you today?” and then answering with “I love you!”

Mike enjoyed coming home from work and watching the TV show “Let’s make a deal” along with fixing up things around the house. He liked to watch sports games and supported the NY Knicks, Buffalo Bills, and Syracuse University. Mike loved to go and work on the family property in Bristol, NY hoping to eventually have a cabin and weekend getaway for the family. Although Mike was actually a very quiet person was also very a very passionate person and he could talk about the things he cared a lot about for hours on end.

He led a wonderful life and will be remembered by his family and close friends forever and always.
