Oh Laura. What can I say friend. I met you at the nursing home as a staff member and we were close to the end. You were kind trying to feed me all the time and you sure loved your Bingo. At cards you were an expert at shuffling and dealing. Great at word games to. Your crafts you took great pains to make it come out just right. At musical programs you always had a front row seat. You did not go to just any church service outside of mass but you came to my husbands non denominational service to encourage him. You loved him as much as you did me. You treasured the rosary he made you and kept it close at hand. You were a fashion plate with clothes and jewelry. I walked past your room yesterday and wished I could visit 1 last time but it was so empty and lonely. I remember how you would beg me to stay and how you waited in the hall for me to speak first. You loved being in charge of everything and had control over everything. You spoke of your husband and how you missed him. Hopefully you are reunited once again. Rest easy my friend. I will never forget you my Italian Mama. Love and sympathy, Veronica.
